Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have a showroom?
We have a showroom just outside of Cambridge where you can select everything from taps to tiles and view your intricate bathroom designs on an interactive 65″ screen. All our displays have been expertly designed and installed by the same team who would complete your installation. We differ slightly to other bathroom companies, in that our showroom is open by appointment only for Design Consultations, thus ensuring that we can give you the time and attention to discuss your bathroom project in its entirety. However, with this said, if you are passing by you are more than welcome to pop in to have a look around our displays downstairs for inspiration.
How do I receive a quotation?
Our first port of call is to meet you at your property so we can see the intended space, allowing us to give you our professional advice, discuss potential product options and develop a general understanding of your design brief, including any associated practical elements that need to be addressed. Following our initial visit, we construct our proposal that includes our prospective designs, advice on the best room layout as well as guidance on both the practical and cosmetic aspects, a proposed product specification, and a good evaluation of the project cost as a whole. We then book you an appointment at our showroom where we can discuss things in greater detail and you can choose more specifically the items you would like to incorporate in the finished room. This meeting is followed with a detailed quote and specification so you have all the information needed to make a decision on how you would like to progress.
How much will a new bathroom cost?
The total cost of your project will depend on the amount of work involved, product and tile choices and materials required to do the work. A bathroom designed, supplied and installed by us starts at circa £15,000 including VAT, however for larger projects and those with higher end products the total cost can be £30,000 plus.

How long will I have to wait for my new bathroom to be installed?
On average we book anywhere from 8 to 12 weeks in advance; if you would like a specific date for when we are currently booking from, then give us a call at the office on 01223 660092.
How long will it take for you to install my new bathroom?
The timescale will certainly depend on the amount of work to be completed. However, the typical time frame is 2-3 weeks from start to finish, with potential time extensions depending on the specifics of the job.
What happens to my old bathroom suite?
For the majority of our projects we organise the delivery and collection of a suitable skip to ensure the safe removal of all your old bathroom fixtures and fittings. There are occasions where a skip cannot be used, however if this is the case we remove all rubbish at the end of each working day.
Will I be left without water or electricity when my new bathroom is being installed?
We promise you will always have access to the toilet and, unless you are having a new hot water system installed, we will always leave you with hot water overnight. You may be left without power or water for a short amount of time while work that directly affects these is being carried out, however we do endeavour to keep this to a minimum. You need to be prepared to be without a shower for the duration of the work and a bath for up to 4 days in the room we are completing the work. If you do not have another bathroom you will need to make arrangements to use alternative showering facilities.
How can I maintain the fresh and new appearance of my bathroom?
It is limescale that causes your bathroom to quickly lose its shiny, pristine appearance and this will occur if you live in a hard water area: a water softener will solve this problem. Installing a water softener is something we highly recommend if you live in a hard water area and we can do this at the same time as fitting your new bathroom. East Anglia is classed as a very hard water area. Softer water will mean that your new bathroom will retain its new appearance as it will not be plagued by unsightly limescale deposits. A water softener will put a stop to chalk and orange rings around your bath or sink, as well as preventing the reduction in efficiency of your shower head due to the build up of limescale clogging the shower holes.
